    Fermata 901 Massage

We are often asked what is Fermata and how do you say it?  Fermata is pronounced fer-mah-tah.  It is a word often associated with music that means to pause or rest on a note in a piece of music.  We at Fermata view the body much like a piece of music.  Just as a wrong note affects a melody, the body can be out of tune from muscle tension, stress and pain.  Tension, stress and pain in one area of the body, affects the entire body physically, spiritually and mentally.  Massage restores harmony in the body.
Many people are under the influence that physical pain is apart of aging but it is not.  Pain, numbness, tingling, can be dramatically changed with massage.  We often hear comments about feeling ten years younger.  If you're in pain, you don't have to be.

    Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy
Trigger points are hyperirritable spots in the fascia surrounding skeletal muscle.  They have a special property of referring pain to other parts of the body. For example, trigger points in the upper trapezius muscle will refer the pain to your head in a tension headache. This massage is slow, extremely specific, and deep.  Trigger points are held for an extended period of time in order for them to release.

    • Kiana is the best massage therapist!! She was so helpful to me while I was pregnant.  She has such a calming energy and always made me feel comfortable while I was in my most uncomfortable state.  She always applies the perfect amount of pressure for each area she is working on.
I recommend seeing her on a regular basis for all your relaxing and muscle pain needs.

    • I first started seeing Kiana two years ago.  She is an incredibly personable and knowledgeable massage therapist.  She takes the time to learn her clients and their individual needs.  It got to where I didn't have to tell her my problem areas; she just knew.
I highly recommend Kiana to anyone needing a massage therapist.

I was referred to this service by my chiropractor because of my muscles were so tight. Best referral I've ever received!!!  She offer several services, but to help with my chronic pain, I have only experienced deep tissue. Best I've ever had!
I've been using their services for more than 4 months now, my pain have decreased by more than 80%. I go once a week and twice if my schedule allow.

I promise you won't be disappointed. Gotta try it

Tracey has (literally) been a pleasure! Scheduling has been very easy and she has provided great communication.   She requests a fairly detailed health intake form which informs her and allows her to understand the client's needs. I've had many massages, but never specifically a therapeutic massage before this. All I can say is "WOW"!  She was able to focus on particular problem areas resulting from either stress or past injuries. After two sessions with Tracey, I already feel much better and am moving much more fluidly. I can't wait to schedule my next session.
      I highly recommend Fermata Massage.

When I first started seeing Kiana, I was juggling 3 different LMT's (Licensed Massage Therapists) in order to be able to manage my pain.  She is extremely knowledgeable and is experienced in multiple modalities.  Kiana is smart and always trying to improve her techniques and knowledge base.
I appreciate her flexibility around my schedule and how she is able to work deeply for lengthy periods of time.  Kiana is punctual and reliable.

I've never bothered with massages in the past but I had a recent issue that needed attention.  Some friends recommended Tracey and I'm very happy with the two sessions I've had so far.  I like the fact that she wants to be a problem solver instead of just providing that basic relaxing type of massage (which she can do as well).  Friendly and outgoing...Tracey makes you feel comfortable and at ease.
I have no problem recommending her if you're looking for some massage therapy.
